Delete account
You can delete your Triedex account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app, without asking anyone and without waiting for a reply.
How
Open the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, and type your username to confirm. On the web the same page is at /settings. There is no undo and no cooling-off period: when you confirm, it happens.
What is deleted
All of it.
- Every Experience you recorded, with its scores, dates, tags, private notes and reviews.
- Every photo you uploaded — the files themselves, not only the references to them.
- Every comment and like you left anywhere, and everything you saved to want to try.
- Who you follow, who follows you, and anyone you blocked.
- Your profile, your username, your interests and your settings. The username becomes available to anyone else.
- Your account itself, which frees the Google, Apple or email identity you signed in with. Signing in again afterwards creates a new, empty account rather than reopening this one.
When
Your account stops being visible to anyone the moment you confirm — profile, entries, comments and photos all disappear from everyone else's view in that same instant. The erasure itself runs immediately afterwards and takes seconds, not days.
What is kept, and for how long
One record that a deletion was requested and completed: an opaque identifier and two timestamps. It contains nothing about you and exists so the deletion can be shown to have happened. Comments other people wrote in reply to yours remain theirs and stay, no longer attached to anything of yours.
If you cannot reach the app
Write to the contact address below from the email address on the account and ask for it to be closed.
